Hello and Welcome, my name is Natasha and I have been photographing newborns all over the GTA since 2013.  Ranging from Mississagua, Toronto, Vaughan, Milton, Georgetown, Alliston, Oakville.

When I decided to become a newborn photographer I did a mentorship with 2 newborn photographers in Indiana.  I learned so much and appreciated the training especially in the aspect of newborn safety.  After all, these are your babies!  Your tiny little miracles. I love capturing their cute features.

I often get asked about my packages and poses etc so I thought let's create a blog to create a visual on different types of poses.

Before we begin, it is important to understand that newborn posing is never guranteed.  Every baby is different and some may or may not do certain poses after all baby is always the boss.  Certain poses are best done under 14 days.

Flokati Rug - Wrapped (Swaddled)

I do have many different colours in these flokati rugs from, blush pink, Rosey pink, cream, lavender, navy blue, minty blue, light blue, light grey, cranberry, sage green, teal.

As a newborn photographer we often like to book newborns with in the first 14 days.  Why? You may ask, well newborns tend to curl up more and are more sleepy so getting them into sleepy newborn poses is easier.  As the weeks go by they become much more alert.  Does that mean that if your baby is older than 14 days you can not get newborn photos done?  Absolutely not!  This is a precious time in your life and you should get newborn photos done even if baby is a little older.  The covid 19 pandemic brought on a lot of business closure, photographers in Peel were closed for over 7months.  In this time we have had to push newborn sessions back even further and some babies were 2-3 if not more months old when we saw them.

This little guy was 2.5months old when I did his newborn photos.  I'll admit I wasn't sure how the session would go and we could not achieve those beanbag poses but his images are just stunning!  And the best part is he has both awake alert images and sleepy newborn poses as well.

Thank you again to his parents for letting me capture this special time.

Hello! Welcome to my blog, I am a photographer in the Caledon area.  I mostly photograph newborns in the Peel area ranging from Caledon, Brampton, Mississagua. I am so glad you have shown interest in my work.  It means so much to me.

This is blog is dedicated to this sweet little 4 week old baby boy.  He did so amazing during his session and loved to be wrapped.  He is so filled with love from not only his mom and dad but his beautiful older sisters too.  What a lucky little guy!

I get very excited when my client's return with their 2nd 3rd or even 4th babies.  It is so nice to watch families grow and provide beautiful memories.  I initially did one year old cake smash photos for their older daughter.  Sometimes older siblings are not too keen on taking photos with their new siblings but I absolutely understand and know how precious these memories are.  I try my best to achieve them but sometimes it does not happen.  We were able to capture beautiful family photos and newborn photos.  Looking back at these moments makes my heart smile.

When Aveesha's parents contacted me for her newborn photos, she was 3months old.  Technically, we newborn photographers like to see baby's when they are less than 14days.  They tend to be more sleepy and curl up more, making it easier to wrap them and place them snuggly in a prop or basket.  I have in my newborn photography career seen many older newborns.  I asked Aveesha's parents to put their patient cap on and we would do the best we could.  If baby did not sleep, we would treat it as more of a 3month milestone session, if she did then we would proceed as a newborn.  It took some time to get her settled, probably over an hour but when she did her images turned out stunning.  We also managed to capture her beautiful bright eyes as well.  If you think its too late for newborn photos, contact me, I would love to give it a try and create beautiful cherished memories for your family.
