Hello! I am so glad you came across my blog, I am a cake smash photographer in the Peel Region: Brampton, Caledon, Mississagua area.  I specialize in Cake Smash Sessions and absolutely love these.  I love creating and crafting a beautiful set, most of the time decor for these sessions is made by me.

I designed a paper flower backdrops for a session a little while before Marley's.  Marley's mom contacted me about doing something similar and she was providing the gorgeous paper flowers herself for the session as she is the owner of Posh Paper Flowers decor in Pickering/Ajax.  Her flowers were stunning and she very sweetly donated them to my studio for future use!

Marley came in for her cake smash on her actual birthday - this doesn't happen too often as most cake smashes are done 2-3 weeks prior or around the time of baby's first birthday depending on when paren't need the images.  I am a full service studio and I believe strongly in post processing and editing images after sessions in order to provide the complete professional imagery.  Marley enjoyed her cake and was all around a very happy baby.  Check out her gallery below!

Welcome to my blog!  I’m a Brampton and Caledon Newborn photographer, located in Southfield Village formerly known as Strawberry Fields.  I have been capturing maternity, newborn, baby, family and cakesmash photo sessions for the last few years.

When Parm contacted me about booking Aahanna's Cakesmash in our Caledon Studio, she mentioned her name being "Hawaiian" and wanted a Hawaiian theme for the cakesmash.  I had wanted to incorporate paper flowers into a cakesmash for awhile but never really had a theme they would work for.  The fact that hibiscus and floral stuff hadn't really come into season yet (there was mostly Christmas decor), I ended up having to make a lot of the props we used for the set.  I was thrilled with the look and will be incorporating this backdrop into this years Easter Minis.  Parm even made an organic gluten free cake for the smash.  The set, the decor, the outfit, the cake were all perfect but Miss Aahanna wasn't much into smashing.  We still ended up with some great images and memories for the family.
