First Holy Communion is a very special time in a child's life (and some case adult's as well).  It is the moment where they not only receive the Eucharist for the first time but they understand the sacrifices Christ made for us.

Communion photo sessions are a beautiful way to remember this special time and their connection to Christ and the Catholic Church.

There is so much preparation for this big day, including but not limited to that perfect outfit, shoes, headpieces etc so why not remember this day with a special photoshoot.

These beautiful photos can also be used for invitations, thank you cards, wall art or a reminder of the special connection they made to Christ and the Catholic faith.

Communion Sessions are offered at my studio in Caledon, ON.

Welcome to another special edition of my blog!  I am a local maternity and newborn photographer in the Brampton, Caledon and Mississagua area.  My studio is located close to hwy 410 making it accessible throughout the GTA.  It is my absolute pleasure to capture this beautiful time in a woman's life.  Once baby is born and starts to grow we forget the pregnancy troubles but want to remember our growing baby and all the excitement when we were pregnant.

This edition of my blog is dedicated to an in-depth look into the maternity gowns I have available in my studio for use during your session.  There are a few others that may are not shown here (most new stock that has been worn yet).  My goal is to take off the stress by providing gorgeous gowns for you to use.  These can be used for outdoor maternity sessions as well but I do ask that they are requested so that I know which ones to bring along.

Hair and makeup can be arranged for you as well, the cost must be paid by the client though.

Most gowns fit all sizes, there are a select few that are a little smaller.

The ideal time for maternity shoots is between 32-36 weeks, when you are showing.  They can be done earlier or later depending on how mom to be is feeling or how much she is showing.

Contact me at info@pmphotography.ca for more information or check out the pricing menu at the top of the menu bar.

If you like the flowing gown look this is very specific to certain materials.  The fabric must be lighter in order to be tossed and flow in the air during the shot.  Please let me know if this is a shot you want so we choose the right gowns.

For the first time in years I am bringing these adorable valentine mini photo sessions to the GTA.  I bought this backdrop last year to hold Valentine Mini Sessions in my Caledon studio but didn't get around to it so I could not let another year fly by.

I had so much fun doing these photos for my daughter that I know these will make adorable valentine cards and gifts for your love ones.

Bonus is not only are the sessions short and sweet and include 3 images, there is an adorable take away gift for your little ones! (One per family)

I can't wait to see you all.

Hello!  Thank you for stopping by my blog and my website.  My name is Natasha and I am a newborn photographer in the Brampton Caledon area.

In this blog post we are taking a peak at some of the beautiful images from precious this precious little girl's newborn session.  She is the youngest of 3 in her family and she has 2 older brothers to spoil and protect her through her life. I especially love her spur of the moment spa image in her robe.

Mom had a special request for the froggy pose as she has had this done for her boys.  The froggy pose is a more challenging pose to achieve and babies must be in deep sleep and it should always be done as a composite (meaning 2 images put together) to ensure safety for baby.  It is shot with someone supporting baby's hands and then baby's head and the 2 images are merged together to create a beautiful end result.  Babies and children are God's most precious blessings so we must always keep them safe.

Frequently Asked Questions - Cake Smash Sessions

How long in advance should I book my cake smash session?

I recommend client's book baby's first birthday session/cake smash at least 2-3 weeks prior to when they need the images by.  If you will be needing your images for baby's actual birthday try to schedule at least 2-3 weeks prior.  Images are edited in the weeks after the session so ideally we want to give enough time for this.

What if I only need 1 or 2 images early?

I have no issues sending you 1-2 images prior to the session but I would need to know this in advance and keep in mind sometimes things are hectic during busy season Oct-Dec.

Is there a rush fee?

To be fair to all clients my editing list goes in order of when client's selections are received.  There is a $50 rush fee for me to have your images sent back to you within 48hrs.

Do I need to supply props?

Generally I will supply all props need for the session.  If you are wanting something specific you are welcome to bring it along.  If you have props you would like to incorporate please let me know and send photos of them to: info@pmphotography.ca

Do I need to bring baby's outfit?

I do have a variety of studio outfits for girls and boys that you are welcome to use however, I do not provide specific outfits for each and every theme.

Do I need to bring the cake?

Yes but I can order the cake from my preferred vendors however, you would need to confirm no allergies or dietary restrictions.  Cost depends on vendors but starts at $50.

What size cake is best?

I like simple 4inch cakes, bigger cakes than 8inches can be a bit overwhelming for baby.

What should I bring?

I recommend bringing a towel, swim diaper, a change of outfit for yourself including socks and for baby.

What if baby has never had sweets?

I do recommend trying baby with a cupcake a few days before the session.  Let him/her touch the cupcake and feed themselves so that baby is comfortable during the session.

What if I want to book the signature session but would like a different backdrop?

The signature package was designed to provide a more cost efficient package without the increase in cost for the session.  Only the backdrops in the signature session may be chosen for this session.  Everything else is considered: customized

What if I do not want the cake smash, just first birthday sessions?

That is absolutely fine, you can still do any of the packages without the cake.  If the session includes the cake we will just remove the cost from the package.

How do I know what is available to book?

Send me an email at: info@pmphotography.ca and we can chat availability.  Some things to consider adding: a day or time that you would prefer, what package you are interested in, theme or ideas you may have, if you need the images for baby's birthday and when that is.
